When trust is low, difficult conversations go unheard, people feel unable to be themselves or change isn't taking hold, the issue rarely sits with one person alone. We start with what people are experiencing, the organisational conditions shaping it and the result you want to achieve.
Turncurrent works with HR and L&D leads, senior leaders, event organisers and teams through talks, workshops, facilitated conversations, leadership coaching and defined programmes.
Jarell brings a psychotherapist's understanding of people, a coach's attention to agency and a facilitator's ability to hold difficult conversations, informed by lived perspective. We connect individual experience with leadership, culture and systems, agree a focused intervention and identify practical ways to assess what changes.

Turncurrent brings together Jarell Bempong's earlier experience of workshops, offsites, coaching, retreats and expert panels, including commissions with King.com, Henley Business School and Budweiser Brewing Group. At Henley, his work included identity-centred personal development and follow-up one-to-one coaching, exploring authenticity, visibility, belonging and confidence. These were Jarell's earlier engagements, not Turncurrent commissions.
Jarell personally won Gold for Zipcar Business Person of the Year at the 2024 LCCI SME London Business Awards and AI Citizen of the Year at the 2025 National AI Awards.
His earlier venture, The Intersectional Majority, was a finalist in three 2025 National AI Awards categories: AI Award for Healthcare, AI Innovation Award, and AI Award for Government and Public Sector.
His earlier practice, Bempong Talking Therapy, won SME News UK Enterprise Awards recognition for Most Transformative Mental Health Care Services in 2025 and 2026, and was Highly Commended for D&I Consultancy of the Year at the 2025 Inclusive Awards.
Those commissions and awards belong to Jarell and his earlier ventures, not Turncurrent; Turncurrent brings that experience into one place.

The approach is tailored to the brief rather than treating every challenge as a training problem. Discuss an organisational enquiry.
